We had the pleasure of visiting Sidney Tavern in East Berlin and were genuinely impressed. We tried the rum punch, which we think might be seasonal, and the raspberry and rose. Both drinks were full of flavor and beautifully balanced. The new gnocchi was incredibly soft and comforting. As a vegetarian, I was excited to see solid plant based options on the menu. You have to try the black bean burger. It was easily one of the best I’ve had locally. The atmosphere is cozy and elevated with a welcoming small town feel. The interior is filled with interesting artwork that gives the space a creative and personal touch. It’s the kind of place that feels both relaxed and refined. It’s about 25 to 30 minutes from Seven Valleys, tucked in the heart of East Berlin, making it a great little getaway spot for dinner or drinks. Overall, Sidney Tavern gets a solid 10 out of 10 from us. Definitely worth the trip.

Looked for fine dining in Gettysburg to celebrate our anniversary, but there aren't a whole lot of options. Stumbled upon Sidney and so glad that we did. It is about 25 minutes outside of Gettysburg, but an easy drive and wonderful food. Wide ranging selection of wines (price wise), interesting mixed drinks, and an amazing filet mignon! We would definitely recommend to people looking for a special dining experience!

Food was absolutely delicious, the wait to get menus and place drinks orders was way too long. Overall, waitress was friendly, but very slow service. The food is incredible, but if they could just tend to the table quicker it would have been a delightful experience all the way around.

I will start by saying it is pricey but SO WORTH IT! The staff is incredible from the hostess who helped bring meals and answer questions to the server who was attentive and we definetly had some good laughs with. The chef sent out a free amuse bouche that was a puff pastry filled with a goat cheese and onion mixture. But let me tell you the oysters! I have eaten oysters on the half shell pretty much my whole life and they were phenomenal the mignonette was everything I didn't know I was missing. Food was seasoned to perfection. I mean they don't even have salt and pepper on the table because it is not needed. Already planning to return and can't wait till the menu changes again.

Met friends for a Friday night dinner. Brad was our waiter, he was very attentive and friendly. I had the attic char, it was delicious. Two had the stripped bass, and one had the bolognese - everyone was pleased with their meals. Dessert- creme brulee very good! We will be back.

In a word... phenomenal! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcome and right at home. We were seated beside a fireplace, very nice! Our waiter Brad greeted us and presented us with the extensive wine menus. He was very knowledgeable and after making some suggestions, we made our selections. Our drinks came out quickly and were so good. I highly recommend the “Mrs. Clause’s Red Dress”. It was delicious. Dinner menus were brought out and we selected the Potato crisps to share, my husband chose the Hamburger with Steak fries and I had the Prime Beef Short Rib. I must say, everything was cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. Each course was timed perfectly. We were seated where we could see into the kitchen. I really enjoyed watching this entourage of culinary professionals interact with each other like a well oiled machine. I have seen some comments that this place is expensive, but let me say this... you get what you pay for. It is WELL WORTH the price for the quality of food and the experience. We are so fortunate to have such high caliber dining in our area.
